Avcomm built this item as a easy and safe (no battery used) cell phone interface. Just plug in the interface cord between your current headset and planes headset jack. Next add your cell phone to the 3.5mm plug. That's it, your ready to go! You can now use your cell phone, listen to music, Bluetooth to your iPad, etc. Headset MUST have electret mic. The 3.5mm plug works with newer cell phones.

The Interface is great for filing a flight plan, checking weather, calling for fuel, getting a clearance at an uncontrolled field, calling for a taxi.
