A new Area of Operation has been added for Preflight Preparations: Pilot Qualifications. A Judgment Assessment Matrix was added as an Appendix. Throughout the book, readers will find new and additional entries outlining requirements on advanced technologies, including GPS, glass cockpits, terrain and weather displays. The Practical Test Standards are guides written by the FAA for students, instructors, and FAA-designated examiners to know what is expected of pilots during a check ride. ASA reprints the most current FAA Practical Test Standards in handy, cockpit-sized booklets. Soft cover, 5-1/4" x 8-1/4". 64 pages.
